European Die Casting Competition 2026

The German Die Casting Association (VDD), the Federal Association of the German Foundry Industry, the Zinc Initiative Association, and Euroguss jointly organized this competition. Participation was open to all manufacturers of die-cast products, including aluminum, magnesium and zinc die-casting foundries. Products were selected from nine categories: Mobility, Sanitary, Communication Technology, E-Mobility, Electrical Engineering, Materials Innovation, Lifestyle, Home & Garden, Locking & Security.
In the category of Lifestyle, the focus is placed on various criteria: tool design, tolerances on the component, geometric properties, surface and surface texture.
The jury's decision was based on the requirement for high surface quality after casting and the technical implementation of the demanding demolding process. The thin walls and the delicate internal contour were also important.
At this point, we would like to thank all our employees and see this award as the success of outstanding teamwork! The European Die Casting Competition 2026 also serves as motivation and a challenge for us to pursue further innovative projects.
The award ceremony took place last week in Nuremberg during the Euroguss trade fair.
